tgparker
Sorry, I'm a VP noob. How do I edit or delete one (Left or Right) channel of a stereo audio track in VideoPad? Thanks! TG
borate
Click the FX icon on the audio clip and the effects window appears. Click the large green + sign at the top left and choose PAN. Move the slider far left or right. Audio will be heard only on the side you have chosen.
Ivan187
There's also a way to configure panning on the left side of the audio track itself. It's on Center by default.
Miggy
I thought tgparker was asking how to edit the left or right audio channel separate from the other. And that's something I'd like to know as well. Maybe you need Wavepad to do that?
borate
Separation of channels can be done in VP. Right-click the audio clip, UNlink FROM VIDEO. Right-click the audio clip, then COPY. Move the scrubber (red line) to the head of the clip, right-click and PASTE AS OVERLAY. Click FX on one channel, click the green + cross and apply the PAN effect full left. Do the same on the other audio channel and apply PAN far right.

If there's only one channel, then it won't work the same.

If it's left-channel only, open it in WavePad and click the STEREO button at the bottom of the window. This will dupe the mono to the right channel. Whatever needs to be done can likely be accomplished in that program. Input the result to VP.
