Recording problems

I have several problems when recording 

1) Suddenly stops recording a track.

2) Suddenly maxs out a track.

3) Weird noises for no reason which I can only cure by adjusting one or more volume sliders.

Any help gratefully received as I cannot use it as things stand.

1. What version of MixPad did you install? 

2. Are you using Windows 10,8,7,XP or Mac OS? 

3. From where are you doing the recording? which device?

I'm having the same problem using Mixpad v 5.04 installed on a Windows 10 laptop.  I'm using an X18 ASIO driver for a USB connection to a Behringer XR 18 Mixer.  It suddenly stops recording, max out a track and a weird buzz.  

I can stop/start recording, but it continues happening.

What is causing this to happen?

Can you please try installing latest version 5.10 from this link and try again? : https://www.nch.com.au/mixpad/mpsetup.exe
