The Soul Man UK Posted February 24, 2018 Share Posted February 24, 2018 I am a new, novice user. I want to edit and augment backing tracks as I am singer. I have successfully edited a backing track and now want to add backing vocals to it. When I plug my microphone in I can record but I cannot listen to the backing track and record simultaneously. i.e. I can plug in the mic and record my voice but cannot hear the backing track. The backing track can be heard only when I unplug the mic. I hope it's just a matter of a switch but I cannot work it out. Anyone help, please? I came across MixPad after posting my question and loaded it OK but have still not been able to simultaneously playback and record in synch. I have imported the edited backing track and clicked "Enable recording to this track from (Default Sound In)" but still cannot record b-vox against the backing track.
