adding long AVI files to video files bin

When adding an AVI file (1 hour and 2 minutes length), the bin only accepts the first 4 minutes of the video. How can I add the complete file?

What version of Videopad?  Licensed (paid) or unlicensed (trial)?

it's the unlicensed version

when adding a 16 minutes length AVI video, it accepts the full 16 mins.

There should be no difference for loading clips on licensed and unlicensed version.

It could be an issue with that particular AVI file. Have you tried a different clip with similar length?

Have done some more testing with adding AVI files. Any file or clip longer than 4 minutes is loaded only the first 4:07 minutes. A shorter file (3:17 minutes) is fully loaded. The files have these values:

 - total bit speed = 29904 kbps ;

 - framespeed = 25 frames/sec;

 - framedimensions = 720 x 576.

Remark: WMV files are fully loaded, even longer than 15 mins.

Can anyone help me with this?
