Video conversion stops at 50%

Hello,

I am trying to convert a video using Prism Video Converter (Free version), but the process stops at 50%. No progress after that ...

- Type of the original file format: VOB File (.VOB)

- Size: 415 MB

- PC / Windows 10

- Converting to AVI (default)

I'd appreciate any suggestions on how to solve this problem.

Hello,

I can recommend you to try using a different .vob file and different output format to see if the issue could be related to the formats you are using. If the issue persists, you can try installing the trial version using this link: https://www.nchsoftware.com/prism/prismpsetup.exe

I have the exact same problem and have tried various solutions including transferring the files to my PC first, but it stops at 51%.  I was converting 2 DVDs with VOB files, two worked great and then the third one this problem started.

If this is possible, could you share the file you can't convert to reproduce the problem ? Uploading it to any cloud storage like GoogleDrive would be great.

I just bought a licence and installed the Freemake Video Converter. But every time I try to convert a .MOV into a .MP4 the convertions stops at 50% without any message and I have to kill the program to exit. Tried to convert to other types but I just get a nonsense output.

Does anyone faced the same issue?
