Overwritten save recovery

Hi all.

I have Photostage 3.31 installed on my laptop, running Win7 Pro 64 bit.

I have been working on a project for a couple of days. I saved the project and export a test video. I then brought the test video into Photstage as a new project so I could add my name in the bottom right hand corner. Without thinking I then saved this video with the same project name as my original compilation, overwriting it !! I now have no ability to enhance the compilation further.

Is there anyway I can recover the overwritten save ? I have all the photostage cache in tack. The programs settings at set so cache isnt deleted on exit or such. Cache folder is at user/appdata/local/temp/PhotostageCache. this files have extensions that I dont recognise or are not the usual save format of .SPJ

You should be able to restore the project file by renaming it, what message do you get when trying to restore?
