Guest warren lester
I have tried to set up Axon for some tests at home with sipgate and f2s both in the UK. One problem that I have is that audio is one way only, When I ring a landline through either sip gateway, they can hear me, but I can't hear them. If I connect my softphone directly to either sip gateway, everything is fine. Has anyone else experienced this problem? I am running Axon 1.06 I have tried both Express talk and X Lite Thanks in advance, Warren Lester

I am running Axon 1.06 I have tried both Express talk and X Lite I'VE HAD SIMILAR PROBLEMS BUT LEARNING THE HARD WAY I SUSPECT THE FOLLOWING IN ORDER OF PRIORITY 1. CODEC MISMATCH [E.G. G729/G711A] MAYBE BECAUSE OF FAILED/BLOCKED NEGOTIATION, AND/OR NOT RELEASING PREVIOUSLY USED CODEC [CALL NOT RECOGNISED AS HANGING UP PROPERLY]; CHECK PHONE & AXON EXTERNAL LINE SETTINGS 2. FIREWALL NAT MAPPING PROBLEM IN ONE OR BOTH DIRECTIONS - HANDLED OK BY SOFTPHONE BUT MAYBE INCORRECTLY SPECIFIED IN AXON EXTERNAL LINE SETUP - AXON ALLOWS YOU TO CHECK STUN, UPnP AND STATIC ADDRESSING SIMULTANEOUSLY 3. DO A CLEAN (RE)INSTALL OF 1.06 AND RESTART EVERYTHING. HOPE THIS HELPS
