Can the music be removed and just use the vocals with MixPad or WavePad? Is there another software program for this? Ultimately I want to use the echo effect without affecting the music. nchBen Posted August 23, 2015 Share Posted August 23, 2015 Hello Visage, Are you talking about a recording where the music and vocals are already mixed into one final output file? If so, then I'm afraid there really isn't any reliable way of separating the vocals from the lyrics. WavePad can attempt to do this using its Vocal removal feature, but the results will depend heavily on how the music was originally recorded.
