aisa
I have an IP cam on my LAN which I can access using my IE browser but cannot access with Debut. It uses h264 and is ONVIF compliant. I guess the problem is finding out the complete and correct URL to put into Debut. I know the camera's IP address. I can access the http server of the camera just by typing the IP address in the browser. Then the video appears in the browser frame window. I believe it uses some ActiveX application. I have a choice of higher definition video or lower definition. Apparently all this uses port 34567. With Debut I have tried several variations like http://192.168.0.5:34567 but none of them work. I have no idea how to find out the correct url. I am even confused about how this works because I suppose the client (whether Debut or IE) must first send a request for video stream and specify what resolution, framerate, etc. they want. Maybe this is done on another port using Onvif? The camera configuration lists three ports: Media Port 34567, HTTP port 80, ONVIF port 8899. Is there a way to record the H264 video stream using Debut? Can anyone help?

Steve.leroux
I have a Pelco IP camera on H264. I can see the camera on the web interface and on VLC by entering various different syntaxes of the IP Address. None of them will connect on Debut. This appear to be a common problem looking at the forum. Is there a solution? Steve
