Search for blank space in .mp3 audio file

Hello,

 

At key spots in my audio file, I insert 5 seconds of blank space, then add a comment.

 

Is it possible to "search" for x seconds of blank space, as I would

"search" a document for a specific set of letters, and then do a

"Find Next" etc.

 

This would allow me to quickly bounce to KEY areas in my

audio files.

 

Any suggestions?

P.S. Thanks for WavePad... it is VERY useful, and I'm considering

registering if I can figure out how to do some of the key things I

need to do (such as the above request).
