friesen Posted July 31, 2013 Share Posted July 31, 2013 I have just bought an easy capture and am trying to use golden to transfer old vhs movies to my computer files. I cannot seem to get the audio to work, have checked all the plug ins and followed all the "help" advice, clicked every setting i could think of and still no luck. Chris75 Posted January 21, 2021 Share Posted January 21, 2021 Would this issue happen while you are recording or after you are done? If the issue happens while you are recording, it could be that your computer does not have the option to monitor what plays during recording. If the issue happens after you are done recording (during preview playback), then you may want to try using different audio and video compressors or formats. I know you've obviously spent a lot of time trying to get this to work but maybe taking your old VHS movies to a professional to get them concerted might be a better option? it doesn't seem like a problem that can fix itself so outsourcing seems like a reasonable suggestion, it's not too pricey and you'll have your files converted problem free and reasonably fast if you need recommendations I'd be more than happy to help, I know video to dvd transfers, Brighton (supaphoto.com) offers this service hope this helps :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
