Express Scribe Free Version?

Hi all,

 

Hope someone can help here. I had the trial version of ES which I expected to convert to the free version (which has all the functionality I need) at the end of the trial. This hasn't happened. I managed to find a download that specifically said it was free but was for Windoze. Am I wasting my time trying to find a free version for Mac?

 

And yes, I know I could buy it but I'm a self funding student needing this for a very short period, so not really wanting to fork out if I don't have to.
