recording from MD, converting ATRAC3plus to MP3

Hi! I'm new to this software and need urgent help.

 

I have to edit an audio file that I had recorded on an MD. I downloaded it on my computer through the MD programme SonicStage (the file is in ATRAC3plus format) but WavePad won't read it.

 

Is there a way for me to open audio files recorded on my MD in WavePad and edit them there? Can I convert ATRAC3plus files into MP3 and how?

Installing ATRAC3 drivers on your PC may overcome this problem. Go to www.nch.com.au/acm/formats.html on the NCH Swift Sound website and scroll down to 'atrac' in the Proprietary Formats section for more information and a link to the download.

HI, I too am interested in converting ATRAC to MP3 and am pretty lost on how to do it. I would be grateful to anyone who can advise me on proven way to do this...
