ad101867
I am speaking particularly of the "building preview" nonsense. Takes forever.
Guest romer-n-c-h
Thank you for your feedback. Is this every time you use it, and can you give me some more details?
ad101867
Thanks for responding, romer. It's every time I use it. I've switched back to 2.41 (for now, at least), which is way faster. The "build" is almost instantaneous.
Mmario
I have the same problem: 'Building Preview / Please wait ... '. Only in 3.0. Unfortunately I have recently upgraded to Windows 8 so I cannot use version 2.41. It takes very long time to play the video in Clip Preview window or Sequence Preview window. It gets really frustrating if you import 4 or 5 videos and cannot preview neither of them. I searched for a setting that 'loads' somehow the videos so that after a certain amount of time they are ready for work. But didn't find it. You have to manually select every imported video and wait for the green bar to load the video. This behavior I find it unacceptable. Try to fix it. ad101867
Wow, so you're telling me I only have as long as I'll keep my current PC before having to ditch 2.41 anyway??? Too bad.
gibson23
No - the problem is in the new version. I am having the same problem and I know it's not my computer. I have used VideoPad for years - they've always had "bugs" but not like this. It is constantly "building preview" everytime you make a cut. Then it takes about a minute for every mb of a file you try to save. Definitely a bug in the program. Has anyone found a fix for it yet?
TecnhoViel
Any Update on this? I also see it, but I don't really think it's just slow, because the "building preview" comes ans goes... i.e. the preview is there, and for some reason VP seems to start building it again. @NCH: Please let us know if you need log files (and which / how to create ;-)
