Debut video capture messed up my skype

Debut video capture to default it did not record speaker sound, and so I went to settings and ticked the box for the sound and then it asked for downloading a driver for it and so I did and said I needed to restart my comp, after I open my skype and tried to talk to someone (used skype for a very long time no mic issues until now) and that they couldn't understand me as I sound like a "speed up techno Alien" and the only changes I did in that small time was that driver installation, is there anyway to fix this? Though I went through the mics settings and ticked the box to listen and it sounded fine, when I recorded my own voice on e.g. audacity it still came out fine its only on skype and so if I figured it was skype then I would need to re install and that still didn't fix the problem and I already did system restore.

 

Can anyone help me.

 

My next solution would be to wipe my computer since skype is what I use a lot on my pc
