mclainla
Hi I have a MAC intel 2.1 dual core with 2 GB of RAM and MAc OSX vrs 10.6.7 I am using the latest version of Switch purchased and registered (same with Wavepad) and I'm having this problem. I've recorded some greetings for my parents voicemail system (they have a business) and their telephony system ( a prosumer grade TalkSwitch - nothing fancy) requires CCITT u-law 8,000 kHz, 8 bit, Mono My mom is in another city but downloaded the FREE version of Wavepad and Switch. (we've been through this recently already but needed to make some changes) the first go around, she formatted the files and both switch and wavepad on her system ( a PC running Windows 7) SHOW the u-law format variation in the advanced dialog. I include a pic for reference. I can change the sample rate and bit rate proper, but I have no other options other than PCM and GSM. This does not seem right. I canot for the life of me figure out what to do about it. I have updated both software packages and again, I purchased a bundle and both pieces are registered properly. any thoughts? thanks Scott
