how can i make the audio higher?

Hi, i was wondering how i can make the audio higher on clips ive imported from the internet?

If you add your clip to the sequence line the audio track should appear beneath it. Right click the audio line clip and then select to adjust the clip volume. A green bar should appear with a slider. Move this to the right if possible to make the sound louder. However there is a limit to this movement before the bar turns red indicating that the sound has become distorted.

Alternatively you could extract the sound track as a separate file by right clicking the clip in the media list and selecting to "Save audio track as a separate file" and treating this file in an external program.

If you don't have one then Right click the extracted file in the media list and select to "Edit in an external editor" This will install on demand the NCH Wavepad program.
