Derick3
I have been using WS_FTP for 15 years and was content to continue using it until I got a new machine with Win 7. Classic FTP looked good and I wanted the flexibility that it offered. I downloaded Classic FTP and copied the same data as I had previously used with WS_FTP. I tried to log on and got the message "Unable to log on. Please check that the server address is correct or that the firewall is not turned on." I use AVG and turned off the firewall and still no go. I believe that I am using the same ports and everything else seems to be the same as what worked successfully before. Any tips? Derick3
