Snow Leopard 10.6.4

Can someone please tell me if Express Scribe and Switch are compatible with Snow Leopard 10.6.4?

 

My new Mac is has serious software problems which Apple has been trying to solve for some weeks. I am now trying to establish which of the few programmes I use are really compatible. The Nch technical support form does not list 10.6 in their operating systems. Should I take that to mean 10.6 is not compatible?

 

I am a PhD student urgently needing to transcribe my research interviews and need to know if these programmes are the cause of my problems.
