gunsmoke
I'm testing out Switch for mp3 encoding quality, but I wanted to know some things... What mp3 encoder is it using? Is it LAME? If so, which version? If it's not LAME, what is it? I ran a test from a flac file, setting it to VBR with an average of 256 and a max of 320, Stereo. The encode seemed to take a lot longer than other encoders. Is there a reason? As for the settings, I've compared a few other types; VBR 100% quality (v0) which is 235kbps, both Stereo and Joint Stereo. CBR 320kbps, both Stereo and Joint Stereo. Does anyone have any advice as to which is the best way to go? Thanks!
