natureboyms
I am posting this in case anyone else has the same problem I did. I imported a video file (avi) using the File menu command, but I couldn't seem to figure out how to add an audio/sound file. When I right-clicked the audio box (as the Help page directs), only an un-selectable "add sound file" option popped up. I also could not add from the File menu drop-down. If you're in the same boat, do this: Right click the video file you imported. Click "place on sequence". NOW, you can add the sound file, either from the File menu or by right clicking a blank Audio Track box and selecting "add sound file." Now that I figured that out, I think VideoPad is great. More detailed instructions would be nice! Maybe they exist, and I just couldn't find them. Complete rookies like myself don't know that the video must be in the sequence before adding a sound file. Thanks NCH, for a good piece of software.
