How add many, many outbound Rules?

Hi, actually i use another sip server software, but have some problems and i want change my sip server.

Trying axon a get a big problem, because i work with variuos Voip Provider and i have near to 20000 rules for all countries.

now i have added 500 rules for outgoing call via web (http) , something like "if call start with 00511 then use sip provider Poivy" , by example.

 

I think this way is really slow, calculating i need 4 months for all rules ;(

 

There is a way for add many rules togheter like a copy-paste or adding from a XLS file.

 

I cant reduce this quanty of rules, must be near 20000 rules ......

 

There is a way for do that quickly?

 

I hope receive a good answer or then i could talk with my mother,father,grandma, and my sons for do it all togheter....

I know you say you can't reduce the number of rules, but perhaps you could just be overlooking something. I cannot forsee any scenario where you would need that many different rules, could you please provide a specific example? I think there is probably a more efficient approach to the problem.

 

Even if you were able to load 20,000 rules in, I really don't think the software would be set-up to handle that kind of demand. For one, I imagine it would probably cause Axon to freeze for a few seconds (if not crash) every time you would attempt an outbound call.

Hi, thanks for your answer, well, about the scenario with 20000 rules, this is the last database what i have with all destination in the world, every destination have a diferent provider, because, sometimes provider XXX give me a good price, but for another destination , provider YYY give me the best price.

 

i too think whats is so much for the aplication , and that could hang all. For that i'm trying another way, but ;( newly i have another problem.

 

I'm trying to use a softphone and make the next procedure:

A.- From softphone call to emiter's phone.

B.- When emiter answer the call , in the softphone i press transfer.

C.- With the emiter in Hold, i dial the number for receptor phone.

 

And here is the problem, becuase if the receptor's phone is a extension, i can transfer the call without problem.

But If the receptor's phone is external call, the system drop all, loosing the comunication beetween softphone and emiter.

 

With another Sip Server that funtion work fine,

i Hope this problem be resolved.
