ExE
Hi! I'm using Lnksys SPA922 IP phones. I have configured Axon PBX with 2 extensions - 101 and 200. When the call is not recorded it's all working well. When i enable recording of outgoing calls VRS starts recording, but the file is empty and there's no sound on the phone. I've read that VRS does not support G.729 codec. The Linksys phones support G711u, G711a, G726-16, G726-24, G726-32, G726-40, G729a, G723. Which one should i use when recording the calls with VRS? Bandwidth usage of the codec is not an issue. Is it possible to post a list of supported by VRS audio codecs?
ExE
I suppose many people use Linksys IP phones (SPA922 for example) and SIP (for example SPA3102). So in my opinion it's important for you to answer this question here, in the forum, in order to avoid future posts on the same topic or e-mails to your technical support. By the way it's not clear to me: How am I going to purchase this software if i cannot make it to work with the existing hardware? I also think that publishing (on your website) datasheet with all the technical information concerning VRS will improve the image of NCH. Anyway i just need to know which codec to use when connecting SPA922 to VRS
