epwinslow
The NCH site gives the following requirements for soundTap: System Requirements Windows 2000**, XP, Vista++ Mac OS X 10.4 and above. ** For technical reasons Windows 2000 only supports recording what you play not the input side (for, for example call recording). Windows XP and Vista supports both. ++ Windows Vista 64 Bit is not supported. So, I assume it should also work on Windows XP Pro64. I installed it okay and when it is started (before any streaming application of course) it reports that it was initialized and that recording mode is off. However, I have yet to be able to record anything (don't have a mic so haven't tried that). If I go to the control panel, click Sounds and Audio Devices then click the Audio tab, I don't see SoundTap listed anywhere, even if I activate the drop down lists. Do I need a special driver for Win XP Pro 64?
