ok say i have 2 clips on my time line and i have changed my mind and want to add a third inbtween them it will cut its way inbtween them instead of simply going after my first clip and my second clip being pushed over to be played 3rd it will cut parts of my first and second clip. why in the world is this a thing and how do i get around it. iv had a good search and anything that involves cutting in comes up with how to cut/crop clips witch isnt my issue. also another situation. i have a bunch of images displayed in a different video track so it over laps onto my video but say i need to increase the duration of 1 so i drag the thing across and it does the same as the clips it wont move the other images along the timeline it will just CUT ITS WAY THOUGH WHAT EVER I HAVE THERE INSTEAD OF PUSHING THEM DOWN TO A LATER POINT. WHY IN THE WORLD IS THIS A FEATURE AND HOW CAN I STOP IT
"Export" has a Very Interesting option named "image sequence" which enables the user to export a clip as a sequence of photos (video frames). I myself can imagine MANY Creative Uses for "image sequence", but my problem is that this option generates TOO DAMN MANY images !!!!! I just now exported a 3 minute clip as an "image sequence" & ended up with folder containing 6200+ photos !!! ARE YOU KIDDING ??? That's CRAZY !!! In an "action clip" where there is human behavior, the difference between image 1000 & 1001 is trivial and of no use to me. In fact, the difference between image 1000 & 1010 is trivial & of no use to me. Is there some way to adjust the "image sequence" option to generate just every 30th or 50th frame instead of EVERY frame??? Also, can someone give me a clue about how 6200+ images generated from a 3 minute video clip can be of practical use to ANYONE??? Joe Kulik .... So.Experienced@gmail.com
Hi, I've been using an older version of videopad (v2.something - can't remember), and i must say i am very happy with the ouptut quality. However i have run into a brick wall and i need some advice. I am an animator and i ususally render my shots in TGA format to create an image sequence of my animation. Is there a way i could import an image sequence as a clip into VideoPad? The current version i have is incapable of doing that and before i purchased the new version i wanted to ask around. I have done this Adobe Premier ages ago, but i've lost touch with that software and VideoPad seems a lot easier to use. Also before i go, what is the latest version of VideoPad out at moment? Thanks, HarryG.
