  1. I have Lots of files that I need to password protect. Can I run Express Burn in batch mode? Thanks. Phil.
  2. Hi, I've been trying this for months but couldn't come up with a solution. What I want to achieve is to reduce the volume of several clips at once, without having to go into each clip one by one to reduce the volume. I've already placed the clips on the sequence timeline, I highlight say 5-6 of them and then in the audio effects I choose "Change Clip Volume". Problem is it only changes the volume of one of the clips and not all five of them. I know there is a volume button at the front of the timeline but that reduces the volume of every clip on the timeline and there are interviews and other stuff for which I need to maintain the higher level of volume. Please let me know if I can just "batch" reduce the volume of certain clips or not as it would save a huge amount of time for me. Now I go into each clip one by one and it takes a LONG time. Also, I tried exporting to wavepad and so on, but that just makes the whole process even longer. Thanks!
  3. Hi I have some questions regarding batch processing. I would like to use wavepad to prepare samples for my sampler but I dont understand few things: - I cannot edit settings of fade out in batch mode - I would like to fade out a tiny part of sample at the end to avoid 'clicks' - cannot see a bit depth conversion in batch processing - I have a lot of 24 bit samples and I need them to be 16 bit. Thanks
  4. Hi, I am new to Wavepad and would like to automatically split all the mp3 files in one folder into smaller parts. I read about an "Auto split" feature but I cannot find it in the free version, nor can I find a "split" feature under the batch functions. My original book already contains 65 mp3 files but their length is still too large in order to access a specific point in an audio book (my player has no bookmark feature, always starts at the beginning of the last played file). So I need to split all 65 files into smaller pieces. Without a batch solution I will have to open all 65 files separately and split them manually... The OTHER problem I'm having is the numbering. When I multi-split a file named xxx_01, the resulting files will be named xxx_011, xxx_012, xxx_013 and so on. INSTEAD it should be xxx_0101, xxx_0102, xxx_0103 because once the numbering reaches 10, the files will be sorted incorrectly. Can anybody enlighten me on one or both of these issues? THANK YOU!
  5. I am running Wavepad for Mac v5.82 and it seems that amplify does not work in batch mode. Is this a known problem and if so are there plans to fix it? much thanks john
  6. A command-line initiation of Switch to convert a folder full of wav files to mp3 files in a different folder stalls on the 11'th file. If a couple of files are deleted from the beginning of the input folder Switch still stalls on the 11'th file in the reduced list - it therefore seems that the problem is not specific to my particular files but rather a problem with Switch's scheduling. I'm launching Switch from a Java program running under Netbeans by means of a "Runtime.getRuntime().exec(switchCommand)" command. Curiously, if Switch is already running, the problem disappears. Unfortunately, starting Switch from Java first and then requesting the conversion via a second exec command doesn't achieve the same effect. The problem seems to arise precisely because Switch is launched from Java. I'm running the paid-up version. Anybody else seen this problem?
  7. Amplifying does't work in batch process. I use wavepad master version 5.5.4. Step 1 : Add folder work1, some m4a files there Step 2 : Add command "amplify" with gain 12% Step 3 : Choose Same type file and output folder work2 Output files were created in work2, however those were not amplified, same as original files in work1. I also tried 'Echo" effect command in same way. That works correctly.
