Thanks for all the replies but i had to find another way and just used a proxy file, compressed the file into a smaller image and it fixed the problem, although changing preview qualities could have helped much more

I imported a 7040 x 7040 image and tried to put into the timeline and the whole program just froze, everthing was all fine until the program tried to preview the huge asf image, but for some reason instead of lowering the quality of the preview image, like any other normal video editing software, it tries to preview it 100% of the quality, which freezes the whole damn program???? there isn't a preview quality format setting anymore so how the hell (just dont even try to give any answers about hardware, im just asking how to change the preview quality, not to upgrade my damn RAM or video card)
