Hi hello, I'm trying to do the following with Soundtap, and would need some help. I have a set of headphones with a microphone embedded on them. I'm playing some music on windows media player (which I'm hearing through my headphones as they're connected to the PC's headphone Jack connector). I would like the computer to record both the music that I'm playing in the background and my voice, which is being inputted through the headset's microphone. Right now my problem is that Soundtap won't start the recording when I click the start button as it won't detect the music that is playing, no matter what device or input channel I select.
