  1. This would be an help request but also a suggestion for videopad developers : using a mask to overlay a video, you have to feather the border to 100% if you dont want to see the different contrast/stack between the mixed videos, but this often ruins the image details because Videopad automatically darken the edge line of the mask while apply a sort of blur effect. Could be fantastic to have a function that check the overlayed frame pixels in the mask edge zone (the one below) and automatically calculate an average RGB value to be applied to mask's edge feathering (the one above) ! The correct RGB value taken from the background area blended with the RGB value of the mask border, in a few words. The result for a function like this is a perfect way to quick replace a frame masked section with another one from another video, instead of simply darkening the area. Anyway, if you can suggest a way to avoid the darkening effect of mask feathering using actual features I'll be happy to use it ! Thanks in advance. Luigi
  2. Hi Nico, the time needed to export a video is afflicted by a lot of things : CPU, memory, duration, resolution, effects applied. The more things you apply to the clip (change original resolution, filtering, transitions, rescaling) the more time will be taken to export the file. Again, if you change extension a re-encoding process could be applied and I think this is the reason why you have to wait so much. To cut out time , first of all don't change resolution and original format, simply cut the parts you don't need ed export with original format. Once you got what you need, you can re-import and re-export the file in the format you need. Please note that a 50min. video in 4k may take a loooong time if you don't have an high-end computer (i9 at least).
  3. Blanks frames afflict also my videos from time to time and I was unable to spot them until I see exported work. The trick I used was to open the exported video file with virtual-dub and delete them manually re-encoding the clean video... but as you figure out is not the best way to fix this thing and cause audio gaps also. So mine suggestion is : why not to add the function "detect/delete single blank frames" ? many thanks
