Using Videopad V7.11, know how to add video transition between 2 video clips. But, when I edit a video clip or split a video clip with less than 1-2 min- Transition doesn't auto populate. How can I add transition?

Working on a Project using Video Pad version 7.11 - Green screen video with overlay of an image. Image is on Track 1, Video is on Track 2 - looks good in the sequence preview. But when I export it, Video with black background is the only output(Image is lost somewhere). Not sure what I'm missing, please help. Thanks
