I solved it. It's because the video was 4:3 but the image was 16:9. I changed the AR of the image which worked.

I'm adding a watermark at the top right of the video, and I position it correctly and when I preview it looks and plays fine. However, when I click out the editor of the image, the watermarks gets moved further into the video. If I try and move the image out of the video to compensate, it cuts that part of the image off.
