  1. Thanks. I did that. I have to say they responded within minutes which was very good. I'm going to try the latest version to see if that's any better. Their alternate solution is to save the DVD output to the hard drive and use a standard burning app but the whole point is that their app should be able to do the job. We'll see.
  2. Does it not matter that that screen says "Calculate bitrate automatically to fit video on a DVD disk"? I thought that was the whole point so I didn't have to experiment around. You would think paying $40 for this software it would do what it's supposed to do.
  3. Thanks, I appreciate the reply. I will experiment with that setting.
  4. Hi - I just purchased VideoPad and for compiling and stitching together a bunch of video files into one movie has worked out pretty well. I have a problem now where I'm trying to create a DVD and (after waiting several hours to do this via the Export menu) it tells me that my video file won't fit on a 4.7GB DVD. Is there no ability to compress the video to a slightly lower quality so that it can be made to fit on a single DVD? This is the whole reason why I bought the software. I've got many tapes to capture video and I want to convert to DVDs. I downloaded a trial version of AVS video editor and it prompts me to ask if I want to compress the file so it will fit and it works just fine. Would rather not spend $60 on that software when I feel the software I have should be able to do that. I'm running VideoPad V7.11 licensed. Thanks in advance!
