  1. Hi, I would like to be able to set the tone amplitudes as a voltage level rather than in dBs. Why? 'Cos Fourier Synthesis of simple waveforms uses integer divisors for the amplitude. Converting to dBs is a minor pain. Worse, the conversion loses precision. Decimal points on the dB amplitude would help but it seems simpler to allow amplitudes to be specified in volts - with a suitable precision. After all, the dBs will be converted to a floating-point level, internally, so why not allow that as an input? Regards PeteS
  2. Hi, I have several tone files saved. Some only differ in subtle details so it isn't always obvious which tone set is running. Is there a way to have the tone file name displayed? Regards PeteS
  3. Hi, I have a similar problem. I want to demonstrate Fourier Synthesis. That is easy for a square wave but triangle and sawtooth waves need a phase reversal on odd tones. The obvious way to specify the phase reversals is to give the tones concerned a negative frequency. An even better solution would allow the relative phase of the tone to be specified. So why no negative frequencies? Regards PeteS
