  1. Any ideas on what I need to do?
  2. https://1drv.ms/v/s!AkQjn-3mMVd2bYGNTtAxnfxrD4I
  3. Hey I put a mp4 on a zip drive and brought it to work and it plays fine. Seems like something with my windows media player. Any ideas? I did reinstall WMP last but didn't help. Sometimes it stops at the beginning of the vid and sometimes about halfway through. Thanks David
  4. Where will I see this info. I do know I pick a mp4 if that is what you are asking. I suspect I'm using the default res. but not sure.
  5. I did 2 more projects in the last hour. Nothing different than before. The second one worked. The first one would not play on WMplayer. It stops in a couple of seconds, but once went about 5 seconds. I have not did any changes to the way I did the projects. I am wondering if it could be my media player? Any ideas? Should I be able to play them right after I export or is there a waiting time I should be doing? Thanks David
  6. I hope to try again next week. I'm out of pocket this week on other stuff. But thanks to all who tried to help!
  7. I had deleted other failures so that is the only one I have at present. Any idea what to do from here? I had tried mp4 and mov types of files. Sometimes this one would play about half way before it stopped.
  8. I have tried something and https://1drv.ms/f/s!AkQjn-3mMVd2ZyiZ8LuxReAl-f4 is what I received. Thanks David
  9. I will give that a try. I made one this morning that worked. But have been here all day with the second vid. I made a couple earlier in the week that worked. But I'm needing a break for a while. Just not understanding. I am one of those guys who always do the same thing each time and that is what I did today. Thanks for trying guys. David
  10. I am very sorry as to my ignorance but just not getting what you need me to do. The best way to help developers diagnose the problem is sharing your project files. Here's how... 1. Save your project. Then, with it on the timeline, click the FILE menu. SAVE PORTABLE PROJECT AS to any convenient folder. Under the save project I am not seeing save as portable. I did a save to my desktop but it is just a single file. I have one that is a mp4 and one that is a mov. 2. Open the folder that contains the saved files and ZIP* them all. I am only seeing one file per project is that correct? When right click I get a couple of compress options? 3. Upload the zip file to DropBox, Google Drive, MS OneDrive or the like. It's free. Never done this before. 4. Make the uploaded file public (share it) and copy the shared link. 5. Paste the link into your post here.
  11. I have made 4 vids. The last one when I play it, it kind of whites out and says media player has stopped and gives a couple of options that says look online for help which means I don't know what and another which says close program. The difference in the ones that have worked and the ones that don't as far as I can see is that the latest attempts it exports in a matter of seconds and the ones that worked it took a few minutes to export. I have used the mp4 thing and the mov one and no difference. I don't think I know how to get a vid to you guys as I don't understand how to do all the zip stuff that would have to be done. All are 5 minutes or less and have a stop start edit and a few text on them. The vids are from my iphone when luck goes my way and I can get them to the pc. Do the software work sometimes and sometimes not. I'm not sure if I am expecting something it don't do or not. Any help I would be grateful for.
  12. I deleted the one that had a black screen with only sound. I have managed to save 2 vids of the same song. The first saved file was just the raw iphone vid. The second is an edited one. So maybe I'm showing signs of life. I have 2 more iphone vids I hope to try today. Mainly just start and stop points and a little text. I will let you know what happens. But again Thank you for helping out.. David
  13. Finally got done took about 40 minutes I think and all I have is audio, and a black vid screen. Is that time frame about right? And Am I thinking correct that this produces a standalone video? I can use it either way by just watching in the program but I thought it may be good to have a video that I could put on a dvd and move or share if needed.
  14. I thing I have it installed or registered what ever it is called. I made one video I think. It has been uploading for about 30 minutes. Is that correct? It is about a 4 minute vid and I just edited the start and stop and a couple of text. I'll let it load and see what happened.
  15. I'm going to take some time this week and purchase this software. Do I need to uninstall the trial version? Thanks David
