I'm having the same issue, has this been solved?

Hi all, I've been having this fade in fade out issue. I saw this posted before but no answer was provided. When I do fade ins at the beginning of files, and fade outs at the ends of files, It creates added material or does some weird phase thing where it just reverse the amplitudes. It seems to happen on various complex sound material. It won't happen if you do it to a sine tone. It's inconsistent. I can send screen shots if need be. I'm using WavePad 6.64 On a 2017 Mac Book Pro - High Sierra Thanks!
