Thanks! Edit; I couldn't find the 'view' icon or chevron but I found the solution whilst looking. In the video effects screen 'view' - 'background' worked =)

Usually I align my overlay image/videos via Motion video effect where I can see the overlay picture on the desired background. Suddenly, without doing anything different, I can no longer see the background I'm using the overlay picture on top of. This makes it nearly impossible to get the overlay in the right spot. Help plz
