  1. Hi, I did find it in the query string, you just need to jump to the end or middle of the string, can't remember now but it was more than five months ago. Maybe it was removed from the latest update? It was really bad for my eyes staring at the dark color.
  2. OK, I have used this suggestion by another user to change the colour coding using the darkoff function in the registry editor. That seems to have fixed the "jumping to top" issue as well.
  3. Hi, I've been having some minor but slightly annoying issues since the upgrade to the dark coloured edition has been released. One of them is that every time I delete a clip that I don't want to use, the editor will jump to the top of the list instead of staying where I was when I hit the delete button. So let's say I have about 60 individual clips, I highlight No. 45 and for this I had to scroll to the bottom of the page. I then delete it but then all of a sudden the first clip will be highlighted, meaning it will jump to the of the video clip list. This can get a bit annoying when I have several dozen clips and I want to just get on with editing but I have to keep scrolling down because it keeps jumping up to the top after I delete a clip I don't need. I already find it really hard to locate a clip I am editing because I cannot see the highlight as it is all dark, but then it jumps to the top so I have to scroll down and figure out which is the next clip I want to edit. I think it is a bug in the system as it never happened in the previous versions. Is it possible to go back one stage in the upgrade for me? This dark theme is also very tiring on my eyes. Thank you!
  4. Hi, thank you I tried that too but it didn't work. When I unlink the audio from the video, the audio extends to its original length even though I cut the video clip already. So it jumbles up everything if I unlink the audio and it has caused me a lot of headache in the past when the audio did not align with the video. Also, by the time I unlink, drag down to the second audio sequence, change the volume, relink and so on will take longer than reducing the volume one by one. Anyway, I was hoping that there is an option of highlighting several clips at once, right click, select the volume option, lower it and that lowers the volume for the selected clips. I will just carry on doing it one clip at a time. Thanks anyway!
  5. Thank you, I will have a go and let you know.
  6. Hi, I tried but that messes up the audio, text and video tracks. I am pasting below two screenshots, before and after. Here is the link to the images: https://1drv.ms/f/s!AlSe7jTUlz6noCEdP0_JuEk0C9yj Thanks.
  7. Hi, I've been trying this for months but couldn't come up with a solution. What I want to achieve is to reduce the volume of several clips at once, without having to go into each clip one by one to reduce the volume. I've already placed the clips on the sequence timeline, I highlight say 5-6 of them and then in the audio effects I choose "Change Clip Volume". Problem is it only changes the volume of one of the clips and not all five of them. I know there is a volume button at the front of the timeline but that reduces the volume of every clip on the timeline and there are interviews and other stuff for which I need to maintain the higher level of volume. Please let me know if I can just "batch" reduce the volume of certain clips or not as it would save a huge amount of time for me. Now I go into each clip one by one and it takes a LONG time. Also, I tried exporting to wavepad and so on, but that just makes the whole process even longer. Thanks!
  8. Hi, the new update looks very swanky and works faster on my computer but I much preferred the white/lighter colour from the previous version. Is there an option to change the colour back or customize it? Problem is most software have a white or light background, like this forum here and when I switch back and forth between the new black Videopad editor and say Chrome or windows explorer my eyes start to get sore and I see black and white patches everywhere. Thanks.
  9. Hi, thanks. Yes the clicking works but I prefer using the keyboard shortcuts, it makes it more convenient and much faster. In windows movie maker there is a keyboard shortcut and also in final cut pro and it would be nice to have one in Videopad too.
  10. Hi, I used to be able to set the end point by pressing ctrl+shift+. which would place the blue bracket at the end of the clip. Now instead of placing the blue bracket there is a pop up window which asks me to input the location by seconds and milliseconds. Is there a way to get rid of the pop up and just get the blue bracket to move where I have placed the cursor? It used to be so useful and fast just pressing ctrl+shift+. and that was it, now there is this additional step. Please help! Thanks!
