  1. Not detecting Application

Hello, I think sometimes Voxal doesn't pickup the audio drivers so uninstall Voxal and restart, reinstall Voxal and restart again as prompted. If you keep having the same issue, enter a support ticket at http://www.nch.com.au/support/supportcontact.html Make sure to include your registration code, OS and error message if you get one.
  2. Lock on icon

I've just tested WavePad and don't see any changes on the original file icon. You should enter a support ticket at http://www.nch.com.au/support/supportcontact.html and make sure to include screenshots of the icon.
  3. Very Disappointed

You should enter a support ticket at http://www.nch.com.au/support/supportcontact.html in order for NCH to check your issue, make sure to include attach your backup folder (create one at Tools > Back Up Data...) and some reports with wrong information so they can run tests with that.
  4. Random delay happens.

You should try to uninstall Voxal, restart your computer, reinstall it, register your license and test it... If you keep having issues, enter a support ticket at http://www.nch.com.au/support/supportcontact.html Include your registration code for faster service.
  5. Scheduled Recording Failed

If the scheduled recording failed, and there's a message saying so, you should reinstall Debut, make some tests, schedule a recording in the next 5 minutes and check if it starts or if you get the error message again. If you still get the error, you should enter a support ticket at http://www.nch.com.au/support/supportcontact.html Make sure to include your Windows version, registration code and Debut version (check it at the bottom left corner of the program).
  6. George W

To set the output format, select .wav or .wma from the bottom left "Output Format". To set the name of the file, go to Options and use the Custom option under Filename Format for Extracted files, click on the "Help" button to go to the user's manual section that shows you how to set the name you want.
  7. How to Sign in PhotoPad Image Editor

Hello, PhotoPad doesn't have a password or any kind of sign in mechanism. You might be referring to the registration code (numbers-letters) that is entered into the program in order to license it. After you purchased your license you should've received an email with a 12 or 13 digits serial number that must be activated at https://secure.nch.com.au/activate/index.html in order to generate the registration code. Sometimes you'll receive the registration code up front. The registration code is entered by going to File > Register Software...
  8. Yes, WavePad will reload the file you saved using "Save File As...", this might happen because not in all cases you save a lower-quality version of what you already have, and sometimes you create a new version of the audio file to work on that version. If you're not going to use the file you just created, simply remove it from WavePad and then reload the original audio file to keep working on that version. NCH Software formally takes suggestions and feedback at http://www.nch.com.au/suggestions/
  9. expresscribe audio file list

I'm using Windows 10 and Express Scribe 6.06. When I hover the mouse over the line between the notes section and the section where the audio files are loaded, and the cursor turns into a horizontal line with 2 vertical arrows pointing up and down, I press and hold the left click to move that line up and down. When I release the mouse and close the program, when I reopen it the line will be at the exact spot where I left it before closing it.
  10. Accumulated Depreciation

Do you see the Balance Sheet Report Net Assets in 0? If it is, you probably are using a different account type in Express Accounts. Make sure on the chart of accounts that you're calculating assets using an asset account. The reports available in Express Accounts are described in the user's manual at http://help.nchsoftware.com/help/en/expressaccounts/win/tasks_reports.html
  11. Speech normalization

You should try using the Compress effect, under the Effects tab. Make sure to check its section on the user's manual at http://help.nchsoftware.com/help/en/wavepad/win/compressor.html
  12. Performance Scores

Hello, The scale should be 1 to 100, I have a high-end PC and got a score of 92. Here's the user's manual section that talks about Performance scores: http://help.nchsoftware.com/help/en/warp/win/warpgauge.html
  13. After generating the Income Statement report, under Cost of Sales you can double click the listed accounts, that will bring up the journal section where the expenses were entered, there you can double click them to edit them. On that report, the Income is the amount of profits you have had during the selected period of time. The Cost of Sales is the amount that you have expended in suppliers. The Gross Profit is the Income minus the Cost of Sales. Also, check on the chart of accounts that the subclass of the account you use for expenses is not set as an income account, it should be Cost of Sale.
  14. As stated on the NCH Software site http://www.nch.com.au/scribe/kb/1769.html the DS2 files are not supported by Express Scribe. You can check a list of compatible formats at http://www.nch.com.au/scribe/kb/656.html There's the possibility that the original DS2 files already come with the noise interference and when converted it will carry over that interference. If you're converting them into WAV files and the interference is still there, it is very possible that the original DS2 files already come with interference. To confirm this, play your DS2 files with a compatible player and check if the interference is there. If t is, inform the source of the file. If it is not, as Express Scribe is not compatible with DS2 files, convert it to a compatible format like WAV or MP3. If the converted file has interference, it was added during the conversion process You can also compare by playing the converted WAV file with Windows Media Player, if it has interference it means that the original DS2 file has interference or it was added during the conversion process.

If you didn't create a backup folder by going to "Tools > Back Up Data..." that you can restore later by going to "Tools > Restore data...", unfortunately there's no way to restore your information.
