  1. Is there a webpage that shows the latest available Wavepad release version for Windows?. Similarly is there a webpage showing what the latest release version is for other NCH products?
  2. The lastest version of Soundtap (V3.00) resolves this problem I have found. No more 100% cpu utilization. Thank you NCH!
  3. Thank you Chris. I just googled this problem and found a user experiencing this same problem with stdriverx86.sys on Windows 7 back in Oct 2014: http://www.sevenforums.com/performance-maintenance/347779-high-cpu-usage-image-name-system-pid-4-when_playing_audio.html Does that mean the developers don't consider this much of a priority?
  4. Forgive me if this has come up before. I searched for an answer on the forum but didn't see any. Running Windows 7 and Soundtap V2.31. Whenever I play a sound my cpu goes to 100% busy due to stdriverx86.sys driver. So, when I play a song from Windows Media Player, or iTunes or Youtube the cpu goes to 100% busy. As soon as I close down the program that was playing the music then cpu utilization goes back to normal. I've deinstalled Soundtap and reinstalled to no avail. When I deinstall the driver does get removed. Any help would be appreciated
