I am using Express Scribe Pro v 5.63, and the audio files are wav format.

I had Windows Vista on a Gateway laptop on which I used Express Scribe Pro v 5.63 whenever on vacation to download and transcribe medical dictations. I had no problem until I purchased a Dell laptop with Windows 10. Now, when audio files are downloaded to Scribe, some of the files are incomplete, showing roughly 20 seconds of duration when they should be 1-3 minutes long. The slider moves across the bottom of the Scribe window, but I have no audio. This issue affects only about 3 out of 10 audio files each time. I have been in contact with the NCH support team who says that Express Scribe Pro is compatible with Windows 10, but they cannot resolve this issue. I am desperate to find a solution, as I would like to upgrade my desktop from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 with the free offer, which is good only until July. I am running out of time, and since my desktop is used solely for my work, I cannot upgrade until I know for sure that Express Scribe will work. Please help me. Thank you.

Hi there. I am using Express Delegate with Express Scribe. Upon dispatching, I added 2 attachments to 1 audio file, but upon dispatching, only 1 attachment showed up. Is it not possible to add multiple attachments to one audio file?

The doctor for whom I transcribe has uploaded several voice files, and 2 of them sound like he is on helium. How would I go about correcting this so they can be transcribed?

Thank you for responding to my question. I work with Express Scribe and was able to "recover" the specific audio file and attach the word file. However, upon dispatching, a message box came up saying that it could not be uploaded. I was going to post this later tonight, but since I am responding to your message now, I will say that I had to contact a Delegate manager who created and uploaded a new voice file, which permitted me to attach the word file, and then dispatch it. Like you, I thought that "recovering" the audio file would do the trick, but I guess it doesn't work that way.

I am new to NCH forums and to Express Delegate, so please bear with me. I transcribed some dictations yesterday, dispatching notes after each dictation. However, upon learning that the last dictation I dispatched was the final dictation, I failed to attach the word file. What do I need to do to attach the word file?
