Hello, Today I cannot use Debut or EditPad all purchased software. My main NCH folder C:\Program Files (x86)... with Debut and VideoPad (I originally said Editpad in error) files are now removed from My PC .. all shortscuts ... everything is just vanished / deleted from my hard drive. How can this happen?

Borate .. thanks for the link. I did a quick export to Utube and I was not asked to install x264enc7.exe ... Is it now part of the setup file now?

Do you happen to have links to the new version download and this other file? The current versions page shows 3.86 for download?

I think the OP wants Debut to capture the audio that the PC would normally send send to his speakers.

That is good news. VideoPad ver 3.79. I did a quick test Export to Utube and all worked well ... no problems. Thanks.

As mentioned above ... you can set up text with or without a clip in the timeline. The Tutor you mentioned and said wdid not work for you prior is working fine.... I watched it and it shows a clip in a the time line .. which you did not use ... do same as the video and all will work ok. So, all versions of VideoPad are working correctly ... as you will discover.

Nat, Yep. Step 1. as you mentioned: "Put your image/video clip onto the timeline." That is what RGone is missing when wanting to edit his video. I am going to have a look at the video Tutor and do a test ... it is always nice to know about various methods. The video Tutor I seen (Help/Video Tutorials/Adding Text to videos) only mentions adding text to a current video clip.

I just tested as per borate instructions with ver 3.74 and all OK. Did you do these 3 steps?

I was using VP ver 3.74 beta Today I noticed it is Ver 3.74 How does it go from "beta" to a released version without me downloading new software?

I am now using VP 3.74 beta. I clicked on the "beta" button in the upper right corner of the VP screen and that action opens up a dialogue box where I can report a problem to VP technical support. So I sent them a report indicating the Export to Utube was not working. I also gave them a link to this forum post. Note: According to their Internet Sales page (screenshot for ref) .. it is an advertised feature "Upload directly to Utube".

Got an e-mail from Danyal NCH Customer Service Team. I ununstalled, Downloaded from internet sales page, installed, entered my key. Now I have ver 3.74 beta.

Nat, Ok, I checked the upper right .. sure enough it is Beta. The HELP / About only says ver 3.73 licensed. It sure is hard learning how all this works! So, I guess I am officially a Beta tester now ......... How do you learn when it goes Out Of Beta to Normal released version? I also noticed Utube export is still inop but they already know about that it is not working .... because they tested previous versions I am sure.

Borate, Ok, Thanks for confirming. I purchased Debut and VideoPad at the same time .......... Bundle for $100 I cannot imagine paying $100 every 90 days ($400/year) for product fixes for the current version. Initially I thought when a new version came out ... like going from version 3 to 4 .. then pay again would be the norm.

" One day, it may not accept your key." BTW, just for information, I did not have to enter my Key to download the file or install the current update. I downloaded the setup file, ran it and it automatically upgraded me to v3.73 without have to enter my key. Baybe somebody who has updated their software version, like I have done, will be able to verify how it all works. If my original purchase and downloaded updates are all included in my current updated licensed product?
