I have yet to try the program, but as a user of other slideshow DVD programs, I can say this - Large file sizes for photos are NOT necessary for a video file. In fact they only cause problems. The DPI for photos that are only going to be seen on a cmputer screen does not need to be higher than 100 dpi for a good quality. If you are PRINTING the photos that is different - the more the better. But NOT on video. That may be the major issue here.
