  1. Hope I'm not stating the obvious here, but in setting up your pedal with the serial port (I'm assuming you have serial port available on your PC) did you select COM1 (Serial)? If you only have USB, maybe Olympus has a special driver. I do not know the Olympus pedals nor do I know if you serial port on your PC. Worst case scenario, only if you have serial port, is to rewire directly from the switches inside to a DB-9 female connector - Pin1 = Switch 1, Pin4 = Ground, Pin7 = Switch 3, Pin9 = Switch 2. Hope this helps.
  2. What version of Expess Scribe are you using and what operating system? You confused me referring to an auto playback setting. There is an Auto-Backstep on Stop setting. Are you sure this is the one you used? If so it should work.
  3. I have a user machine with Win XP SP1 and using Express Scribe 4.05. The latest DirectX version is installed (Aug 2006). However .wma files refuse to play though they play in Windows Media Player 9. Tried to convert to .mp3 using Switch, but got an error involving DRM (Digital Rights Management). Any suggestions on how to proceed? Even tried wma to wav converter from the components page. No luck there. Thanks
