  1. What version of Videopad? What are your export settings? Sizes seen here in preview and export are identical. The snapshots were taken at 1080. Preview Export
  2. Fixed in the current version. If thumbnails do not display, expand the timeline with the slider at the right-bottom of the VP window.
  3. 10.12 should be working fine for you. Is it the 32- or 64-bit version? Click the MENU (top-left), then HELP | ABOUT. If it doesn't say "64" it's the 32-bit. What are your PC's specs: Video card, CPU, amount of RAM, free space on C:\? Under OPTIONS | DISK tab in Videopad, Clear Unused Cache Files. Try an install of this version.
  4. Each time Videopad is installed, slightly different features are available. It's a marketing thing. Reinstall repeatedly until you see the Videomaker. No need to re-download.
  5. No, your link to IG requires a log in. But, since IG seems to be the sole sticking point, it's likely to be the culprit, not Videopad. You might post the issue to one of their forums... https://ccm.net/forum/instagram-208 https://www.reddit.com/r/Instagram/
  6. Your PC snapshot mirrors mine. What effect does changing Instagram settings have on the sizing? A friend took a look at the initial OneDrive test, using a Samsung Android phone. There was nothing cut off. Hints again that the issue lies with Instagram settings or, perhaps, the display settings on your phone??
  7. You have cleared cache files and updated the video driver. Don't know what more to suggest except that you try the latest and report back whether that also crashes.
  8. Should do the job nicely. Just click the LOSSLESS button on the toolbar.
  9. Not a phone user here, so someone else will have to chime in on how that looks. It does seem that this A/R would be identical on all devices; VP 9:16 presets appeared to be the same. So, indeed, this may be an Instagram setting... https://blog.hubspot.com/marketing/post-to-instagram-from-computer has instructions for programming your submission for various devices. "4. Choose which mobile device you'd like on the drop-down menu, as well as how zoomed in you want to be. Then, refresh the page. Now, you're seeing the mobile interface of Instagram from your browser." Export here used these defaults...
  10. Not in the know here on phone/tablet video, but one would think that 9:16 is what's needed. https://blog.hubspot.com/marketing/post-to-instagram-from-computer We'll stand by for your project, which someone here will analyse.
  11. Thanks for taking the time. It's just the kind of info needed to sleuth out the problem. Stay tuned...
  12. Test option iii of course. If no go, then the best way to track down an answer for you is to let someone here see the project. Fixes often come quickly. The process is easy, quick and can be done privately. Just follow these steps closely... Back up --- With your project on the timeline, click on MENU at the top-left. Click FILE|BACK UP PROJECT FILES TO FOLDER. Choose a folder and SELECT FOLDER. Upload --- Use a free server - Google Drive, MS OneDrive, etc.* - to upload the saved, numbered FOLDER. Do NOT upload the individual VPJ or export file. Get link --- Get a public link. If using Google Drive click GET SHAREABLE LINK. If necessary change "restricted" to "anyone with the link can view" Share --- Click COPY LINK | DONE. Paste that link here, or click the folder at the top-right of this forum to message it privately to me. It won't be shared. * Before uploading, right-click the folder, click PROPERTIES. Look at the File Size to confirm that it's not too big for the free space on the server.
  13. Helpful info. With the latest version, does corruption appear if OFF (Re-encode video) is chosen in the LOSSLESS field for the export? Click the blue Filesize link to access this field...
  14. Thanks for sharing the project. Untitled 1 looks lousy yet here, using default settings, the export was lossless (took but a few seconds) and flawless. What video card/adapter is in use there, and what are the other PC specs: CPU/RAM/free space on C:? What were your export settings?
  15. Duration of the clip determines scroll speed. Drag the borders, to make the clip longer, and scrolling will be slower.
  16. Works here. Try LOSSLESS (from the toolbar). 39.9Mb bitrate 1.53Gb original exported at nearly the same bitrate with resulting file size of 1.67Gb, after trimming off several minutes. If that fails, try H264 with Off (Re-encode Video) selected in the Lossless Export field. Result
  17. Wait no longer... https://www.nchsoftware.com/download/videopadsetup64.exe Official release, being phased in. Under the hood, significant changes that better utilize GPU, for faster response. Give it a thorough workout and report any glitches.
  18. That's my experience. Increment 30 times and you should see the counter advance 31 frames. Record_2021_02_27_16_04_40_203.mp4
  19. Yes, the smallest available via a shortcut. The cursor counter displays the increments, which look to be about 33/34ms.
  20. The frame bump is the smallest increment. However, by expanding the timeline via the slider (bottom-right), precision can be improved. As for those 'parts' - let's take a look. Upload a sample project for analysis, per the instructions in your other thread. Use the edge buttons for insertions to ensure that the edit is being made at the junction. To see gaps or fragments on track one, switch to Storyboard mode. Did you test the latest version?
  21. The frame buttons offer the most precision... or use the right and left arrow keys. The edge buttons go to the next clip join point or use <shift-right/left arrow keys.
  22. What version is being used? Try the latest. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info. No better? Sharing your project is the best way to solve the issue. The process is easy, quick and can be done privately. Just follow these steps... 23. If this is a recent phenomena type RESTORE POINT in the search box (far-left on the taskbar). Click SYSTEM RESTORE. Tic CHOOSE A DIFFERENT RESTORE POINT, then NEXT to see if there is one that predates your issue. If so, restore your system back to that time, keeping in mind that files added from that date to the present may be lost. Back them up on a separate drive. The process takes time - be patient - and may seem to hang. If the restore fails, Windows will revert to its pre-restore condition. Consider installing an imager, such as Acronis TruImage, Macrium or Terrabyte's Image For Windows. Create regular back ups. Then, all files and the operating system can be restored in just minutes to the state they were in when things worked, saving countless troubleshooting hassles. A memory test should eliminate RAM as a cause of your issue... https://www.tomshardware.com/how-to/how-to-test-ram
  24. Not necessarily, though that seems counter intuitive. Again, drop by a buddy's home and test your 7.03 or 10.15 on their machine.
