try reinstalling the application, it is possible that the update to the app and the updates to the system just conflicted with each other.

I had changed some of the Encoder Options settings for the MOV output format, and without thinking about it, didn't notate what the defaults were. What is the default Quality (Ratefactor) value supposed to be?
