  1. I use IVM through a modem directly connected to a PSTN line. I am trying the software to transfer the call to a cell phone or another landline after answering it. I thought the modem had a problem with flash-hook, but I tried it through hyperterminal of windows XP and the line accepts the signal sent by the modem. Moreover, I used the outbound calls feature of IVM in order to test the flash-hook by dialing for example !,55555555 and again the line accepts the flash and digits and the call is fulfilled. So it seems that the problem appears only using the call transfer feature, and the line either does not recognize the flash, or the digits. The call is never transferred. I tried a lot of things but with no result (a command might help?). Any suggestion will be appreciated.
  2. Does anybody know about ANY modem, internal or external, than can positively support the following three features? 1. Caller ID 2. Call transfer 3. DTMF tone detection I've been unsuccessfully searching for an answer during the last two weeks. If you have the solution to this ...enigma to me.....please let me know. I will profoundly appreciate your favour.

    transfer

I use IVM through a modem directly connected to a PSTN line (not VoIP). I am trying the software to perform an auto-answering of incoming calls (which works OK), and after xx seconds transfer the call to a cell phone or another landline (here is the problem) simulating a conference call, since my telco does not provide call transfer capabilities but conferencing. I thought the modem had a problem with flash-hook, but I tried it through hyperterminal of windows XP and the line accepts the signal sent by the modem. Moreover, I used the outbound calls feature of IVM in order to test the flash-hook by dialing for example !, (number), and again the line accepts the flash and digits and the call is fulfilled. So it seems that the problem appears only using the call transfer feature, and the line either does not recognize the flash, or the digits. The call is never transferred. I tried a lot of things but with no result. Any help will be appreciated.
