I've been using this software for a few months now and I could say that i'm really satisfied but recently, I've been editing a video and trying out overlaying a video with chroma key. and when I previewed it, it was great. so I decided to finally save it to .avi. after it was done, I played it on VLC and was satisfied at first but after a certain point, the video won't play. the audio is fine but the video just stops like a very bad lag. and in windows media player, it just looks like it's in slow motion. I've never had this problem before but it is the first time I used a video overlay and chroma key.

I had the same problem too. i'm not sure with the subs (because i gave up in frutration) but the video quality thing is not much of a problem. it will go back to normal when you save it as a movie. just make sure you have the highest quality settings in the encoder settings.
