Hi, all! I downloaded the free version of VideoPad the other day to give it a try. It's been giving me very beautiful .avi renderings from my .mp4 and .mov files on my Vista machine. Until -- suddenly -- yesterday. It's doing two things differently (all of a sudden). 1. Before, when it finished rendering a video, it would make a sound and blink in the application bar at the bottom of my screen. If I were watching Netflix in full screen, I would simply hear the sound and know it is done. Suddenly, it takes me out of my Netflix full screen, and VideoPad's dialog asking if I want to open the folder is on top. This is no biggie -- I only mention it because this behavior is concurrent with 2. below. 2. Now my .avi renderings -- with the exact same settings and the exact same files -- have random "pixellated" edges, often with some green pixels, on the right side of the screen. Usually in sort of "clusters." Has anyone heard of this or what could cause it? No changes to my PC. Thanks so much for any thoughts! --ak
