  1. Thanks for the reply. I'm finding the slider to be a nightmare to use, especially to ensure that font size of overlay remains consistent throughout video.
  2. I'm using VideoPad 2.41 and finding adjusting the text size of an overlay to be painful and slow. On 2.30 when you clicked on the slide for text size a small box appeared showing the text size (eg.7), that feature seems to be gone and I can't seem to find anywhere to set the default text size, is there a way to set a default overlay text size?
  3. My aplogies, if I link the text, it is moving if I either lengthen or shorten an existing clip. However it seems if I insert a blank clip that the text is not moving with the existing clips.
  4. Hi, I have download VideoPad 2.41 (believe it's a trial of Professional) and have put together an 11 minute video, which is made up of video & still images. I am using the overlay feature to add descriptions to various video and still images. My problem is that I'm now finding that I need to either add some more stills or change (normally extend) the length of time a still image is displayed. This naturally changes the position of subsequent clips in the time line but it also I am finding that the while the video/still clips shift on the timeline, the related overlays are not moving with them. I thought I had the solution when I spotted that if I right click on the overlay text I get the option "Link to sequence" I assumed that this meant it would be linked/tied to the video/still clip and if the video/still clip moved in the timeline that the overlay text would move with it, but this does not seem to be the case. Could somebody tell me if "link to sequence" is supposed to work the way I had assumed or if there is a way to link overlays to a video clip so that they move together. As far as I can see, this the only thing I don't like about VideoPad, I am finding this one particular item to be a huge pain. Thanks Dave
  5. Hi, I've just started using Videopad v2.22 and I've put together a video comprised of a number of still images (photographs), I have added a number of audio clips (music). When I preview the project/video within Videopad the audio is fine, however, when I burn a DVD (PAL) it burns fine and plays perfectly on my DVD player BUT there is no audio whatsoever, I was on the verge of buying Videopad (as gift for my Daughter) but with this problem I don't think it would be worth the investment. When I burn to DVD, in advanced I have selected "Calculate Bitrate automatically to fit your video on a DVD disk" The Video length is fairly short (about 8 minutes long). Is this an intentional limitation of the free/trial version? Thanks Dave
