  1. I am sorry...I forgot to mention that I am still using Windows XP. I have to for some of the Dictaphone software I work with. It is not compatible with any later editions of Windows. Any other handy tidbits for making the file types show in Windows XP (SP3)? I found my answer in a past post! - I should have dug a little deeper. For those reading this, to keep you from digging for the answer again, go to: Start --> My Computer --> Tools --> Folder Options --> Then select the type of file (i.e. *.wav) and change the "opens with" to work with your program (i.e. Express Scribe). Thanks again for providing us with your program! It is quite the handy tool and very much appreciated!
  2. I have used Express Scribe for a long time (over three years now), and I love it. I had it installed before on another computer and when you went to Options -> File Types, there was a "checklist" of the types of files you wanted the program to be compatible with. This time when I installed it (I have v5.13) on my new computer, I do not have that. I only have the "set default RAW settings" and "set default VOX settings". I cannot set it to automatically pick up .wav files when clicked on. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I have tried researching this and I find nothing mentioned. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
